Siobhan Hamon is employed as a Medical Scientist in the Department of Clinical Biochemistry, at Galway University Hospitals and Saolta University Health Care Group.
She currently works in the division of Point-of-Care Testing.
Siobhan graduated from the Galway Mayo Institute of Technology in 2014 with BSc (Hons) in Medical Science. She continued her education commencing her MSc in Biomedical Science (2015), with specialist study in Clinical Chemistry, at the University of Ulster, Coleraine. She graduated in 2017 achieving the award of Distinction.
Siobhan is a member of the Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine’s Advisory Body for Clinical Chemistry.
