Biography

Dr Sorcha Ní Loingsigh (FFPath, FRCPath) took up the role of Clinical Advisor in Transfusion in conjunction with a role as Consultant Haematologist at Munster Regional Transfusion Centre in late 2023. She previously worked as Consultant Haematologist in University Hospital Galway and Mayo University Hospital with responsibility for transfusion in the latter. She holds a MSc in Transfusion and Transplantation from the University of Bristol.
