Biography

Audrey Dillon qualified in medicine from Trinity College Dublin and completed higher specialist training in gastroenterology with the RCPI in Ireland. She then undertook a fellowship in liver transplant in Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham in 2015, before being appointed as a consultant in transplant hepatology in Leeds Liver Unit in 2016. She returned to the National Liver Transplant Programme in St Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin in 2021. She has a special interest in alcohol related liver disease, liver transplant and complex portal hypertension. She is passionate about trying to diagnose and treat liver disease at an earlier stage.
