Work Experience: Trained in Children’s University Hospital Temple St, Staff Grade Medical Scientist – St Vincents University Hospital – Metabolic Unit, Senior Medical Scientist – Rotunda Hospital – 21 yrs, Senior Medical Scientist- Naas General Hospital (NGH) – Clinical Chemistry Department and currently Point of Care Manager – NGH.

Qualifications: Fellow of the Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine (ACSLM); Higher Diploma in Training and Education; MBA in Healthcare Management, EFLM Specialist.

Committees: Former President of ACSLM, Chairperson of the Point of Care Advisory Body and Chairperson of the Presidents Prize Competition. Member of the National Point of Care Consultative Group, National Serosurveillance Steering Group  and former CORU Registration Board member.
