TU Dublin’s School of Biological, Health and Sports Sciences located at Grangegorman, has a distinguished history and recognised reputation for educating Medical Scientists since the 1960s. The School offers practice-led, research-informed undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. CORU approved educational pathways to Medical Science include a BSc (Hons) in Medical Science (TU867) and the first national Higher Diploma in Medical Science, launched in 2021. The higher diploma is available on a full-time (TU888) and part-time (TU088) basis. The School offers an ACSLM-accredited, blended, part-time MSc in Clinical Laboratory Science (TU287) and a suite of level 8-9 micro-credentials supporting Medical Scientist professional development.
