The Atlantic Technological University offers three programmes to those interested in pursuing a career in Medical Science. The B.Sc (honours) degree in Medical Science (level 8), the Higher Diploma in Medical Science (for graduate entry for medical laboratory assistants) and the M. Sc in Medical Science (level 9) are all approved by CORU. The programmes provide a solid foundation in the skills, competencies and knowledge to practice as medical scientists. Graduates are specifically qualified to work in hospital laboratories and are involved in the investigation and diagnosis of medical conditions and disease.
